Its been 10 years since this fantastic desktop environment was born out of need for building a nice looking free desktop environment for Linux/X11. KDE has given me an enhanced and unified user experience and helped me work across multiple operating systems like Solaris, Red Hat, Suse, Mandrake, OpenBSD and Kubuntu. I have been used it even on Microsoft Windows through KDE on Cygwin. It has been one of the developments that has always paid heed to the developers. Here’s my gift:
