Microsoft has launched Aggreg8 – a social networking site for IT professionals. I would assume it would be more about Microsoft products than about networking between IT professionals. Even as a plain networking site, it lacks some of the basic features and the ones that are there are not very easy to use. Probably it is still beta, but not acknowledged anywhere. However, I wonder need for this network. There are already a lot of sites which has Microsoft centred communities and there are loads of generic social networking sites already. Is something lurking behind this?
