Part Of 9rules Now

Did you notice the colorful 9rules logo in the sidebar? This blog was accepted by 9rules about a week back, now it is officially a part of the 9rules Network. It is a member of the Design and Programming communities. Though I write regularly about Web here, I thought I still ventured into these aspects. I might find a better place for the 9rules logo in coming times, but that might take some time.

I got some requests for releasing the design as a theme. I would have done it but for the lack of time. It is of course packaged as a theme, but I hack a lot into it to make changes, which I would consider unacceptable for others. I need to spend some time and work a bit on the backend before releasing it. I am glad that the design has been liked.

Being part of 9rules is a big motivation, you see lot of things written, better and deeper, in the communities. One of the things that provides you the motivation as well as inspiration to do better.

You could remove all those affiliations now, to reduce the clutter. Congratulations again on becoming a 9rules member. I wonder if I will ever become one of you’ll :D .

Rohit, probably I stressed a bit too much on 9rules, because of my excitement. I do not think being part of 9rules was my aim all the way, it is just one of the ways of discovering, reaching and interacting with more people. I consider them best because of their nature. It is more important to blog and interact rather than being part of any network.

About affiliations, I will keep them, since they have been there since long. But I need to design it properly to reduce the clutter.

Yeah, I was reading Bryan Veloso’s interview on 9rules and he said – “…It’s really about the community. Screw traffic. Traffic comes from good content. The people of the network, from Scrivs to Kyle Neath to Nathan Smith, make the experience so worthwhile. Help, opinions, criticisms, connections – all of that – make the network one of the most valuable parts of my internet life…”
