Using IceRocket Tracker

I was using Sitemeter for getting the recent referrers until recently. However, it started behaving a bit strange recently, there was a huge time lag and I often found that it did not pickup my timezone. It is quite possible that these two things might be related. I was on lookout for another such tool, but did not want to pay by money or resources on this blog as I am not interested in the numbers and accuracy much, more in the referrers and search queries that direct the readers to my blog. So I have started using IceRocket Tracker. It is a similar JavaScript based tool, but I have found it much better in what it does. It is quick, and picks up the exact timezone. It might not do all that Sitemeter does, but the combination of IceRocket Tracker and Google Analytics, and AWStats for popular posts has worked perfectly fine for the last week.
