InformationWeek is running an article by Charles Babcock about the greatest web software ever written (via Rajesh Jain). In my opinion, the biggest benefit of the Web is to not only publish but allow discussions on it. These discussions make the Web more than just a media. In spite of Digg being present in the list, I feel that the earliest form, whether it is the groups or forums or blogs, should be mentioned. What do you think?
