I was excited when I came to know that Lorelle was writing a book on blogging. And I find myself privileged to have received a copy from her.
I am probably a little late in this, but I liked reading some of it more than one time. There have been a lot of books on blogging, but this one stands out. Not because of very good paper quality or print quality or because of recommendations of experts, but because it talks directly to you about your blogging.
The first thing I liked about the book was the first question asked in the book - Why are you blogging? It is very easy to create a blog today, but even easier to ignore and surrender it. If you do not think why you are blogging, you end up writing about so many things that it can frustrate you and dilute its value. Even if you realize that there is no specific reason, you should be aware of what you are committing to.
The book does not answer the questions for you, but it sure helps you raise them, so that you can find the answers. It takes you through the philosophy as well as technicalities of blogging. A great guide for anyone who wants to take up blogging, whether fulltime or as a hobby.
The only suggestion I would have is to make the book smaller in terms of dimensions, so that people can carry it with them easily. The title does not really do justice to the content, it is more than tips, it is education.

Wow! Thank you! I like that. It’s more than tips, it’s education. Wow!
That was the goal of the book, so I’m thrilled it has succeeded. Since it went through several evolutions during the 3 weeks it took to create it, I like the thought of it being made smaller for carrying. Maybe in the second edition.
Thank you as always for your kind words and I’m thrilled you like it.
